Future of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)

Renewing the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education is the first step for your institution in preparing for the next Erasmus programme. We published the initial call in mid-February 2020 for all existing ECHE holders and new applicants. The new charter will reinforce many of the already existing principles, including those on inclusion and equal treatment. It will also include a commitment to work together to fully digitalise the administrative processes around managing mobilities, the automatic recognition of credits earned abroad and a more environmentally friendly programme.
